Sweet Dreams 一千零一夜 is an upcoming sci-fi romance drama starring Dilraba as Ling Lingqi (a name which is read the same way as James Bond’s 007 for no special reason), a kind-hearted girl who has a crush on colleague Bo Hai (Deng Lun) but keeps her feelings secret because of her low self-esteem.

They become the guinea pigs of a new bracelet that aims to improve sleep quality, though Ling Lingqi’s brainwaves are accidentally transported into Bai Hai’s dreams, where she helps Bai Hai overcome a childhood trauma, and slowly learns to comes out of her shell.

Directed by Jin Sha (Xuanyuan Sword: Clouds of Han), the 45 episode drama is still in the midst of filming.

Also, idarklight wants to note the Chinese title is actually One Thousand and One Nights, so Dilraba may not be Princess Badroulbadour, but at least she’s played Scheherazade!
