Upcoming fantasy mystery film Legend of the Demon Cat stars Huang Xuan (Extraordinary Mission) as a poet who often dreams he is living in the era of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang (Zhang Luyi). Shota Sometani costars as a monk, and the two work together to unravel the truth behind a series of strange events that all lead back to the death of the emperor’s favourite concubine Yang Yuhuan (Sandrine Pinna).
Qin Hao (Burning Ice) and Zhang Yuqi (Come Across Love) play a couple, Zhang Tian’ai (Legend of the Naga Pearls) guest stars as a mysterious dancer and Liu Haoran (The Wind Blows in Changlin) plays a youth who has the power to transform into a crane.
Everything looks wonderful, so hopefully the actual movie lives up to the promos when it premieres on December 22nd.

kinda surprising that ( possibly ) most important person , the director, ( Chen kage who incidently is not some nobody ) , does not even get a mention !
