Leon Lai (Wine War) is the latest in a string of movie actors (Zhou Xun, Zhang Hanyu, Chen Kun, Ni Ni etc.)  making drama comebacks.

The new project is titled Overseas Security Officer 莫语者, though there’s barely any information on the plot – all we know is that he’ll be playing an ex-special forces agent who ends up joining a private defence company, and successfully leads a rescue mission involving Chinese diplomats. Costars include Li Kaixin (Solaso Bistro), Yang Le (So Young) and Zheng Luoqian (Three Changes).

The 40 episode drama is directed by Liu Shun’an (Paranormal Mind), and has already started filming.
