The Five Beauties of the 22nd Floor are back! Led by Liu Tao, Jiang Xin, Wang Ziwen, Yang Zi and Qiao Xin, Ode to Joy 2 will premiere on May 11th with 52 episodes.
The slice of life drama will continue to focus on the friendship between the five ladies and the challenges they encounter in love, family and work. Their main love interests will be played by Yang Shuo, Zhang Lu, Wang Kai, Wu Haochen and Deng Lun respectively, and Chen Long (General Meng in Nirvana in Fire) will guest star as Jiang Xin’s new suitor. The first season had plenty of problems, and if there’s still no improvement this time round, I’ll be relying on Jiang Xin and Wang Ziwen to pull me through.
Isn’t Hu Ge supposed to have a small guest role?
He is guest-starring in Surgeons (airs on 17th), not Ode to Joy.
As long as there’s tons of Wang Zi Wen and Wang Kai moments I will be happy. :)
Does that mean Jin Dong is not returning? Aww phooey
Jin Dong appears in the trailer, so he’ll be in the actual drama as well. It is a guest role, so his screen time here should be similar to Season 1.
