Lol no, Liu Zhiyang, that is not a good look on you. You know I actually think he might’ve made a decent Guo Jing, especially compared to the other guy who looks more like a Yang Kang.
Woah, nice surprise seeing Xia Dongqing’s actor as Ouyang Ke. I quite like his costume, and thank god no one has those tower high of a bun on their heads that’s popular recently. I agree that there has been a lack of good wuxia dramas lately, though I actually quite enjoy two recent ones such as Border Town Prodigal and Shaw Eleven Lang.
I actually don’t mind the muted colours. For once, my eyes are not screaming, “Save us! Neon colours everywhere…save us!”
Not to mention more realistic probably for the genre.
