Novoland: The Castle in the Sky has begun filming. Starring Guan Xiaotong, Zhang Ruoyun, Ju Jingyi, Liu Chang, Chen Ruoxuan, Zhang Luyi, and Liu Min, this looks to be another drama set in a fantasy premises.

I’d rather watch this as an animated film rather than a drama. I’m so tired of the cookie cutter fantasy dramas China keeps churning out. It just looks corny now.
