The Monkey King 2 has released more stills prior to its release on February 8th. Starring Aaron Kwok, Gong Li, Feng Shaofeng, Xiaoshenyang, and Him Law, I have to admit that I am pleasantly intrigued so far, especially with the costume for Baigujing.

I just can’t get on board with these remakes of iconic characters. It may just be nostalgia, but for some reason the character styles looked better and more realistic 30 years ago.
