Song of Phoenix 思美人 has released stills at long last and I have a developed a serious case of the gimmes. Starring… *drum roll*… Ma Ke, Zhang Xinyu, Qiao Zhenyu, Yiyang Qianxi, Liu Yun, Lan Xi (yes… the one from The Legend of Zhen Huan) , and Lee Hyunjae , so plenty of eye candy to go around.

During the Warring States Period, Qu Yuan falls in love with a slave girl causing discord in the state of Chu. Due to this, the lovers elope but are nonetheless drawn into court politics and intrigue. Through this turmoil, Qu Yuan attempts too raise the country to power but eventually finds despair in the powers that be.
I feel like Qiao Zhenyu and Ma Ke are both more Emperor than Qu Yuan, but everyone looks great. Qiao Zhenyu is going to make a gorgeous Emperor of Chu <3
The only thing I'm concerned is if they make this about the romance or if they fanservice it all the way but then deny it by saying Qu Yuan only loves Zhang Xinyu's character.
