City of Hopeless Love 华胥引, starring Kevin Cheung, Gan Tingting, Yuan Hong, Jiang Xin, and Guo Zhenni, is aiming for a July 10th release and has released a trailer. More hurrahs as things finally come out of the woodwork. Boo hiss since we’re running low on stills. To be completely honest, despite the costuming, I’m sickly satisfied with the development of the trailer. It’s not like being born into royalty was a straight up ticket to being able to do anything you wanted.
Those wires…..in the scene where she falls into rocks and at the end. I hope they remember to erase them before it airs.
I’m 50/50 about this drama. I loved the book, but there are some changes here with the main characters that are questionable. At least the side stories should be similar to the original (and they are probably more interesting anyway)
I’m also very dissappointed she jumped off the wall in a bright red wedding dress as opposed to the white dress in the book – one of the more memorable scenes.

ROFL I think they have remove the wires during post-production.
They completely changed the story… sigh… is this going to be some ‘misunderstandings leading to lots of break ups’ kind of drama again? Disappointing considering it’s adapted from the novel but I must admit the trailer is interesting. Hopefully the drama will give me a pleasant surprise
