Amber Kuo in Amber. I bet she picked her name because Guo Jingming once wrote “Love is amber, for amber is the most beautiful corpse.”
If time could stop, if love and hate could freeze, if memories could become immortalized in amber, if your faces could remain forever …. If time could slow down its march forward and never reach the soul’s end. Then, I’ll have you forever and never lose you.

The great thing about having a magazine editor as your director is that even your posters have awesome taglines to go with them. That and Tiny Times has more photoshoots than all other youth films combined in an year. The latest set of posters for Tiny Times 4: Soul’s End 灵魂尽头 is Amber- themed (the resin with dead bodies, not Amber Kuo) and once more features gorgeous cast of Yang Mi, Amber Kuo, Bea Hayden/Guo Biting, Xie Yilin, Shang Liao, Chen Xuedong, Vivian Dawon, Ren Youming, Lee Hyunjae, and Jiang Chao.
For those of you in North America, the film is likely to air in the U.S. and Canada.
Still sad Kai Ko is not in it (I hope even with editing his entire storyline out, the movie still makes sense). Do you think they’ll ever release a “full version”?
They cut out almost all of Jianxi in the series and it worked fine for the most part, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
They might be able to screen it uncut overseas and in HK/TW.I have a hunch China Lion is going to release it in the U.S. and Canada.
Super cute Children’s Day posters that Guo Jingming just posted — love the Amber Kuo one! Chen Xuedong’s is cute too… I swear I’ve seen that kid before somewhere. http://www.weibo.com/1188552450/Ckq3moH8Z
In all the variations on Tiny TImes, I always feel Gong Ming gets the short end of the stick. He need his own movie!
Can’t. Wait. For. This.!!! I need more Chen Xuedong in my life NOW!!! :)
