Jolin Tsai and Namie Amuro collab for period MV

Not to worry if you’re sad about the end of the airing of The Empress of China.  Jolin and Namie have their own assortment of colorful costumes for you to gawk at in this latest number.

Jolin Tsai has finally opened the lid and released the MV for the song she has been working on with Namie Amuro called I’m Not Yours. For this latest album, Jolin collaborated with the Blonds, the American designing team who has worked along side artists such as Beyoncé and Katy Perry.

Being a fan of The Legend of Zhen Huan, Jolin has followed up hits from her new album Play(呸) such as the SIMS inspired PLAY我呸, Phony Queen, We’re all different, yet the same feat Ruby Lin, and Medusa feat Pepsi, with a more Chinese period-inspired MV… and feat Namie Amuro, who plays her sister fox spirit in the MV.

More stills below the cut.

I’m not seeing any disco balls… did you mean lantern balls?

Ooh!  I see.  While Namie needs Jolin’s help with the lines for her first Mandarin number…

… Jolin could use Namie’s help getting that Tang-dynasty mark on her forehead…

  1. I’ve really liked all of her songs and MV’s so far from this album. They’ve all been really creative on top of being high-qualitied. Probably one of my favorite albums of the year.
