“Neither time nor tide can keep us apart, be it in another world,” aka the regular state of mind of drama fangirls.
Fangirls (and fanboys) rejoice! Bu Bu Jing Qing (步步惊情), the long-awaited sequel to the 2011 time-traveling drama Bu Bu Jing Xin (步步惊心), has an official broadcast date — April 22nd, which is in just a little more than a month!
On March 18th, Zhejiang TV reported on Weibo that Bu Bu Jing Qing would have an exclusive showing at the station’s China Blue Theater (中国蓝剧场). Sina Entertainment then contacted an insider and received confirmation that the series would begin airing on April 22nd.
Interestingly enough, Bu Bu Jing Qing will be broadcast on Zhejiang TV, instead of on Hunan TV like its predecessor. Earlier this month, netizens began buzzing over rumors that Hunan TV would begin airing Bu Bu Jing Qing on March 9th, but the news turned out to be untrue.
Known as the drama that brought Nicky Wu and Liu Shishi together, Bu Bu Jing Xin will see a reunion of the real-life and on-screen couple in the modern-day Bu Bu Jing Qing. The upcoming series also features returning cast members Ye Zuxin, Annie Liu, and Damian Lau, along with new cast members Sun Yizhou, Jiang Jinfu, and Chen Xiang.

The English tagline is surprisingly good: “Neither time nor tide can keep us apart, be it in another world.” It’s a bit of a liberal translation from the Chinese tagline, but it works well imo.
Been waiting a whole year to hear this news. So excited!!
This too? Wow! This must be our lucky week. First a long trailer for Long Ballad and then a rough trailer for Nirvana in Fire and now this.
Unfortunately, I probably won’t watch it… but I’m glad it’s finally coming out since it’s been FOREVER!!
Yeyeyeye! I’m hoping it won’t disappoint :S
I feel both a feeling of elation because it’s finally airing, and a feeling of apprehension because I’m not sure BBJQ will be good…
I think that sums up most everyone’s feelings about it. :P
