Who’s the guy getting cozy with the adorable wolf? Why, none other than Feng Shaofeng, who is currently filming in Inner Mongolia for the French-Chinese co-produced film Wolf Totem (狼图腾). Kudos to you if you could recognize him from the back of his head (and without looking at the watermark, hehe).
I haven’t been a wolf dad in vain, there is a massage service. And it’s a wolf-clan Thai-style massage!
Tiny Times 1.0 (小时代) opened in theaters on June 27th. Ever the silly one, Kai Ko (who plays Gu Yuan in the film) posed with the posters for the four main female characters.
Premiere!!! Hurry and support Tiny Times! Today I am very happy to be able to take another picture with the four girls…’ character posters
Fellow Tiny Times actor Rhydian Vaughan (who plays Gong Ming) also showed off a bit of his silly side. (Judging from this bunch of animated gifs, I take it he has quite a few shirtless scenes in the movie. Thank you, Guo Jingming!)
Oh dear, how come the sleeves of my clothes aren’t the same?
Oh, and speaking of Guo Jingming, He Jiong gave us a bit of geometry to mull over. Bwahahaha.
Angry! I actually saw someone ask whether Yao Ming, Guo Jingming, and He Jiong would be able to form a triangle if they laid down on the ground! Even angrier! Because I actually tried calculating it out!
For the record, Yao Ming is 2.29 meters tall, He Jiong is 1.72 meters tall, and Guo Jingming stands at a pint-sized 1.55 meters.
Jing Boran with a crew cut! Just add a mini side braid and he could pass as a Jedi Padawan.
Cut my hair… it’s never been this short before!
If you thought your cat was pretty, you obviously haven’t seen the cat version of Crystal Liu Yifei. The actress recorded a charity song for animal welfare, and decided to dress up for the part as well.
Will you adopt me?
It’s Nicky Wu surfing!!! Our favorite Fourth Prince took an unexpected vacation from his filming projects, although it was probably much too short for him to get much rest. But at least it looks like he had fun!
I found a fun new sport. Will play again this year.
Here is also an obligatory shirtless photo of Nicky, because why not.
I finally have to face reality and return to work. After finishing my vacation, I look like this. Didn’t you want to see my body? The body seller is here
Xie Na also found an interesting way to beat the heat this summer. Yay for fountains!
I’ve wanted to run into the fountain on the road and shout out hi for a long time now
Vic Chou‘s birthday was on June 9th, but for whatever reason, he wasn’t unable to celebrate it until ten days later. Here he is digging into some belated birthday cake.
And congratulations to Jordan Chan and Cherrie Ying, who welcomed their baby boy, Jasper, into the world! Just looking at the words on their shirts, you can tell that they’re going to be an interesting set of parents.
Dear Jasper, welcome to this world. Thanks for your trouble, Mom. Of course you also have to thank me, Dad.
We should do a special Weibo Wed just for Kai Ko lol every one of his post is worth mentioning.
Dear Liu Yifei, it’s really not a question of whether or not if someone want to adopt you, but whether or not you’ll go home with them… I’ll take you home, and care for you, and feed you, and dress you up in pretty fluffy dresses, and …. and …. ^_~
aw, he jiong xD
too cute~ all of it~
Where can I watch Tiny Times 1.0? I hear it did incredible at the box office but failed at the ratings.
Try searching YouTube for it, with the filters set to “Duration: Long” and “Sort by: Upload date.” Sometimes people will upload recent Chinese movies, but they get taken down fairly quickly.
Thanks! Found it. Horrible acting but great cinematography lol.
Thanks for the tip! I found it and watched it last night, and I absolutely love it! It’s a movie that made me cry and laugh, and I also love how they captured Shanghai.
Tiny Times actually had pretty good ratings (8+/10 last time I heard) amongst websites that required you to purchase a ticket before reviewing. It only had bad ratings on sites where you can rate it without watching the movie …
Yeah, after further research i noticed that trend too. I’d give the movie a 3.5-4 star rating. x)
Yea, I was wondering about that too. There’s a Hollywood Report piece about the movie’s low rating on MTime and bad reviews from movie critics. But it just ended up sounding like a teenager whining about why their bias (Man of Steel) lost to a newcomer. The article used mtime’s rating and critics’ review to question the quality of the film, so I check on weibo, and I noticed that the movie’s been getting mostly positive feedbacks on weibo.
Maybe the low rate came from people who just really hate Guo Jingming and Yang Mi? I feel like most people either love or hate the two of them…
Why do people hate Guo Jingming? I’ve seen a lot of hate aimed at him over the years but I just don’t see the reason why…..
Well, he did have that plagiarism controversy for one of his books so I won’t be surprised if a lot of the hate came from that.
