Yang Rong holds her own without a problem. Why are the stills so beautiful?
Based off a book by Tong Hua and produced by Yu Zheng, Yun Zhong Ge (Cloud Song) has began to release numerous stills. It is set to broadcast in 2014.
There is now the possibility I will be tricked into watching this production because of how gorgeous the stills are; how perfect the still where Liu Bingyi (Chen Xiao) and Xu Pingjun (Su Qing) lean in towards each other is, how gorgeous Angelababy looks, how imperious and beautiful Yang Rong looks as the spoiled daughter of Commander-in-Chief Huo…(is anyone else reminded of Tong Liya’s Zhao Feiyan?) Also included in the cast are Lu Yi and Du Chun, who play the male leads; even Zhao Liying (once hoped for as the lead of the drama) makes a cameo as an original character.
My personal favorite…historical bias and all.
I’m going to love this show!!!!
The only reason why I’ll give this show a try is b/c of Chen Xiao and Lu Yi.

I’m still quite upset with the fact that they used Angelababy. Her face doesn’t quite suit period dramas/movies.
+1 I feel like she’s almost as awkwardly cast as Du Chun, except I consider her pretty in normal circumstances whereas Du CHun …
Yuzheng stills always look very visually gorgeous, but once you get to see the motion picture, it somehow disappoints, just like 像火花像蝴蝶, Mei Ren Wu Lei etc.
In the usual Yu Zheng style – pretty people wearing pretty clothes in a pretty set. I might watch this when it airs (it’s chances of airing look better than its prequel Desert Melody….)
OMGGGG now I am not missing this for the world.
