Never expected this cast
Wine Beauty tells the story of the new successor to a wine dynasty, Chen Yiman (Myolie Wu), and her struggle to keep the family business going and prove her worth. She falls in love and marries Zhao Xi (Mao Zijun of Qing Shi Huang Fei) only to be left at the altar by him. During this time Zhao Xi’s first love Lin Xuan (Li Sheng) appears in town looking for him. As luck would have it, instead of meeting her boyfriend, she literally runs into Chen Zihao (Roy Chiu). Now a lead singer of a rock & roll band, Chen Zihao, gave up his inheritance to his cousin Chen Yiman to pursue his love of music. With so much entanglement how will this end?

Nope, there’s been no news on this at all. *sigh* Even the official Weibo account hasn’t been updated in almost a month.
From what I’ve heard, most of Huanrui’s dramas have had little luck in being sold – including Ancient Sword, the Four, and the Young Detective Dee drama. They seem to be having difficulty in their sales department.
Well that doesn’t sound good at all. I thought for sure somewhere it said that Sichuan TV (四川卫视) has confirmed it will be airing this drama. Does this mean it was sold already? I hope to see this drama at the latest this summer, taking way too long for it to come out, making me go crazy.
Just saw this… A fan posted on Roy’s Tieba that the drama will air on July 1st. But I’d take that with a grain of salt because it’s not an official confirmation.
