Recently, some rather creepy stills from the upcoming movie Painted Skin II – Resurrection, were released. They feature the two female leads and it seems to be that there will be some actual skin painting again, but not by Zhou Xun this time.  There’s also a picture with Chen Kun, although the bloody eyes make me nervous – I’ll be very disappointed if there’s something in the plot involving “I don’t care about how beautiful you are, and I’ll blind myself to prove it.”  I recommend looking at the stills under the cut in a dark, quiet room.

The movie’s almost out, with little more than a week left until June 28 comes around. The theme song, a remix of Painted Heart (from the first movie) and still by Jane Zhang, was also released.
